Erste, zweite und dritte Generation fragen: Wie lassen sich persönliche Geschichten in Bilder übersetzen, die zugleich kollektive Fragen aufwerfen? Und welche Formen entstehen, wenn Projektionsflächen für Zugehörigkeit, Trauer und Begehren entworfen werden sollen?

I loved you first synopsis:
Auf einem Ausflug geraten die elfjährige Thi und ihre Mutter Tam in einen Streit. Wütend rennt Thi in den Wald, durch den Tam vor elf Jahren nach Deutschland geflüchtet ist. Thi verläuft sich und entdeckt schließlich die mit Thi hochschwangere Tam und ihre Freundin Cam auf deren Flucht. Nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit folgt Thi den beiden Frauen. Die Vergangenheit wird vor This Augen zur traumatischen Realität.
In der Gegenwart hat sich Tam verzweifelt auf die Suche nach ihrer Tochter gemacht.

Exploring and rediscovering lost memories through the actions of my grandmother. Attempting to recreate the smell and the taste, while along the way I change and adapt. I also find myself diving into an exploration, seeking answers about my lost culture. The journey becomes a dual narrative not just about recreating flavors but also about uncovering the rich layers of a culture left behind. Each step is a bridge to the past, a process to preserve the cultural threads that weave through my identity. I'd reflect on a dish like Korma, and how my grandmother used to make it, with the onions having a sweet taste. Despite efforts, no one in the family could replicate that flavor.

Subliminal Lullabies:
As new generations enter the labour market to build on inherited dreams, we are confronted by the limits set by centuries of acceleration. In a time framed by the fallout of modernity, what do we still dare to desire for the future? What must we mourn to move on from old expectations? Subliminal sound bites proliferate social media, trading aspirations of success and security for ad revenue. “Subliminal Lullabies” mixes conversations on coming to terms with the present with the aesthetics of manifest-affirmations to tap into the real feelings of precarity and alienation these hyper-individualist solutions exploit - a lullaby-lament to soothe the nervous system without turning away.
